PrintTasCOSS is the peak body for Tasmania’s social service sector.

We have a reputation for leading discussion on the most pressing social and economic issues in the State. And we do it with intelligence, compassion and integrity.

TasCOSS and its representatives meet daily with government representatives, community leaders, major employers and the State’s decision makers.

Our membership ranges from large not-for-profit provider with more than $60 Million annual turnover through to neighbourhood and community houses, working on a shoestring and still making real differences in people’s lives across our State.

Our annual two-day conference attracts about 200 delegates from the community services, government and health sectors.

2016 TasCOSS Conference: Everyone a Leader

This year’s theme brings together the work of TasCOSS and its Members to create and lead change in the State. Everyone a Leader invokes the need for citizen-led change in our State to stop the cycle of doing things over and over the same way without achieving real change. Change that is led within and by our communities will create a difference in the lives and futures of all Tasmanians.
